About 200 years ago a brave London Chimney Sweep reigned in a carriage whose horses had been frightened by some dogs barking. As he calmed the horses he got a surprise, the carriage he had reigned in was none other than King George III’s himself. It is said that the King got out of the carriage, bowed to the sweep and proclaimed that from then on chimney sweeps were good luck charms, he even invited one to his eldest daughter’s (Princess Charlotte’s) wedding.

Things have moved on a bit since then, now we shake the grooms hand and kiss the bride (on the cheek of course!)
